..my head..churns out lines..that sometimes seem to rhyme..bit by bit they fit..to be a complete misfit..to me its my freedom...a revolution..my mental evolution...

A Frog in a Lotusless Pond

frog on a lotus leaf
While the drops come down as rain,
battles are fought in vain.

The earth soaks up all the dew,
for a blade of grass to break through.

Like a frog in a lotus-less pond,
trying to get out until it drowned.

Peace and love are sought by a few,
drugs everyone seems to abuse.

Peace is here, there's nothing to worry.
For now, lets get back to counting our money!

Act 1 Scene 1 Round 8

I have been broken,
bit by bit.

Stuck here,
the deep pit

Time to leave
time to go

All alone,
where shall I go,

Spoken the words,
yet again

Those same words,
the same blame

Yet I hope,
this candle lasts.

Its burning,
its burning fast.

Then again,
darkness shall reign.

or will the sunlight,
shed light.

On the same,
trampled path again.

The Body or the Soul

For the body,
you loose your soul.

For the lust,
you loose her trust,

With trust gone,
you will welcome pain,

Lost trust,
is hard to regain.

Put yourself in her shoes,
What will she go through.

You may lie to me,
you may lie to her.

But a lie to yourself,
far worse its something to fear.

With who would you grow old,
pick and choose,

Don't discount the things,
shes done for you.

Mind over body,
Look at your soul.

My friend choose the path,
that nurtures your soul.

I Do It For You My Dear!

You don't have to go dad,
while they are all here.

Every few months dad,
why do you disappear?

Her dad comes to the park,
her mother too is here.

But why do you have to go,
while the others are here.

You send me gifts dad,
but it doesn't stop the tears.

Every time you walk away dad,
it builds up a certain fear.

Will you come home dad?
I really miss you my dear.

This is a poem I wrote for my Godchild to her Father who works away from home. I early thought of the title as I do it for the money :)

The Judgmental Fool

A father said to his son,
at a traffic light a beggar I beckoned,

A packet of chips I gave him,
the sandwich I kept for you!

Ungrateful was he,
he even asked me for money...

Thought the son to himself,
how can my father be this way?

Can anyone kill their hunger,
with a packet of chips?

No rice and no curry,
is it not something to worry.

The sons ego grows,
so sharp is he, momentarily.

But at the traffic light he gives,
the beggar a rupee or two.

A good deed perhaps,
but not enough to buy a meal.

The smartest of them all,
the beggar in his hall.

No nine to five,
nothing at all to do.

Smoking his ganja,
has not a worry.

every day hes saving,
small sums of money.

free food and water,
a two four room house,

stashing his money,
seems like hes fooling everybody!

Thank You Grandpa

One month has passed,
how time flies!

Nothing has changed,
between you and I.

But when I go down,
theres no smiling face.

There is no love,
nor a warm embrace.

No cups of tea,
no questions or repetition.

No proud recital,
of certificates long gone.

No watches wound,
since your gone.

I cherish every moment,
I spent with thee.

Songs you sang,
the french you taught me.

Thank you Grandpa,
for what you did for me.

My Grand father passed away a month ago, November 17th 2008, he had Alzhimers and Prostrate Cancer, he lived for 30 years on a single kidney. The most important lesson he taught me was, to smile. He smiled till he breathed his last.

The Children Aren't Growing

Run around,
no matter where.

Pressing buttons,
without a care.

A smile each visit,
hugged a loving goodbye.

Tiny hands with a mighty touch,
their curious minds, open to stimuli.

Bundles of energy,
loving each new day.

Fascinated by nature,
every ready to play.

Have we grown up,
or have we decayed.

Running for gold,
the moments slip away.

Moment after moment,
day after day.

So late its got,
then we fade away.

The Need for Greed

Oh trees for fruit,
and honey from bees.

Rivers of water,
and fresh air to breath.

What more could I ask for?
what more do I need?

Shooting stars in the night sky,
on mushrooms and weed.

Sunsets on the beach
with coffee or tea

Woken in the morning
Birds chirping with glee.

Theres' a fresh sunrise,
but its one more 9 to 5

Locked in these walls,
for my security.

I don't evolve,
doing what they please.

The so called, thinking species
yet unaware of our abilities.

In front of the idiot box
entertained and chained.

Feeding our minds,
they spread the disease.

Dividing us all,
to support their greed.

Fighting a war,
Killing with glee.

Are we getting,
more than what we need?

Battered and Broken

So much we take,
Bent far enough to break.

Give our bests,
Yet its fake.

Receiving what we.
vowed not to give

The body hurts,
shatters like glass.

Time slows down.
doesn't seem to pass.

What have I done?

Did I deserve,
another shot from the Gun?

An optical playback,
through time in the mind.

As we rewind, old doors seem open,
previously locked by good byes.

Was it better,
when there was another.

Should we let the other,
choose our fate?

Contemplating regrets,
while hell they create.

The Ups and Downs of Love

Oh the highs and the lows
Where else would they go,
as we wander through,
the green meadows.

Up ahead the beautiful lake,
begins to wind up.
And then steps down,
like a snake.

Rushing forward with the water we go.
Avoiding the rocks,
our very own stepping stones.

Where are we rushing, where do we go?
The rivers charging, the waterfalls arriving.
Its a huge drop, then the river ends far below.

The waterfall was beautiful, from afar!
But the gushing waters, now crush down upon us.

Pushed far apart, we swim to shore.
Together once again, we ride the tide yet again.
Where does this river end, shall we ever know?

If this is Hell

If you believe this is hell,
wouldn't you live every moment well?

Everyone you would please,
So your soul you could set free!

Every action taken,
Every word spoken,

All pondered on,
before their execution.

For there is a single goal,
To escape this forsaken place

Thinking about the escape
Buddha you reincarnate,

So easy it would be,
to smile and care.

Where the evil lies,
You slowly try to hide.

You try desperately,
To get to the other side.

Where the flowers bloom,
nurtured by butterflies.

Love floats with the air,
No suffering nearby.

So are you ready my friends,
for this world is burning our insides.

Picture this is hell,
its time to start a new life!

Why and What

Why deny,
what exists.

Why question,
what doesn't.

Why worry,
what tomorrow.

Why destroy,
what peace.

Why do,
what hurts.

Why kill,
what loves.

Why end,
what highs.

Why lie,
what verity.

Why mind,
what soul.

Today

I smiled at him yesterday,
but he just looked away.

Made me wonder why,
was it so hard to smile?

The days went by,
yet once again I tried.

While i passed him by,
my lips curled.

So blank was his face,
like I looked at him with disgrace.

Yesterday he died,
its sad that he never smiled.

Young as he could be,
death came hastily.

Do you make the time to smile?
For it could be your last mile!

The Loving Man

Oh what a waste, yet again he tastes,
The questions, he’s answered,
Though the plans, were mastered,
Yet once again her mind raced.

Why oh why?
Do these thoughts, never die?
For when they arrive, its time for him to fly.
Run away from the pain, escape this life again!

How many times, should a man cry?
Plead and beg, until he dies?
Is this his life? Will it never change?
All he changed, he shoves down the drain!

A different man, he chose to be.
For you and him, but you failed to see!
Now he wanders about, wondering what he’ll do.
For the battle was lost as they split in two.

Yet he will love again, for his love was true.
So full of care, although, he was a fool,
No woman resists, they do not dare,
His nurture is honey, his breath their air.

On a path he walks, strong he stands,
Flowers bloom, with his glance,
Fruit drop down, into his hands,
What has become of this man?

People of Earth Unite

People of Earth,
heed my call,
A few words I have,
to speak to you all

Earth is a heavenly plane,
Oceans and lakes, rivers for veins,
deserts of sand and mountains of stone
air so fresh where trees are grown

Lions, tigers, jackals and elephants,
just to name a few,
Eagles, pheasants and others,
will be extinct too.

Unless you choose
to do what you have to do,
don't listen to them
they only wish to use you

All they have done
is divided everyone
in every ones hands
they are placing guns

killing each other for
stories, oil or gold
imperialism and fascism
with zionism we have been whored

Superior they make us feel
to make us sign that deal
to give our life away
and to make us slay

Ten years down the line
haunted by thoughts
of the shattered lives
our body's maimed
our minds primed

when will it stop we say
Tomorrow is another day,
If you choose it could be today!
So lets begin to love right away.

For when we realize
every drop of rain is never the same
nor the grains of sand
have the same stain

Then why do we despise another
on grounds of size and color
for we all have a creator
like the sand and rain
and when put together
we are all the same

So as the rain comes together
to cast blossoms on the planes
its time for us to live together
and let earth blossom once again

So begin the revolution
turn off the television
forgive the other first
then love will come again

that will be the way,
we can all live together

The Love I Have Missed Hooray!

Your love I thirst,
Your sorrow is cursed,
Your love I miss today.

A few words,
A conversation unfurls,
I miss your voice today.

Today, today,
where do you lay?

Inside my head?
A rocket, the bed,
Where will we go today?

Far far away, Hooray!

Smashed and spoken,
always woken,
flashing lights,
the night is disguised.

Fingers hurt,
fears and comfort,
where did we go today?

A shiny light,
does away with the night?
Here comes the light,
Hooray hooray!

We have yet another day,
Hooray!

Sunset on the Beach

Sitting on the beach,
eyes set on the sky,

watching the clouds,
oh! how they pass by.

Shapes and sizes,
layers and dimensions.

Third dimension visions,
floating across the horizon.

Infinity as far as I can see,
passing time is easy.

Lets bid the sun good bye,
as she begins to hide.

Rays of red and yellow,
purple against blue

All together they show,
everything around she mellows.

The sounds of the ocean,
the crisp salty breeze.

The sunset on the beach,
a serotonin release.

Warming the bones,
letting out the cold.

The Sun and the beach,
nourish the soul.

The Story of Life

God won the war,
and settled the score.
A great flood she sent,
to proclaim them dead.

Before that man had a plan,
the great flood, is just a sham!
Said one man to another man.

The rising sea level,
is nothing to worry!
The President & Prime Minister,
Fooled everybody!

Nature their wasting,
Racing, competing, overtaking,
Hurting, killing, destroying,
one another for money.

Spoke the wise man,
Don't be fooled!
For they do not play,
By God's rules.

Find yourself,
before its too late,
or you will suffer,
the same fate.

Then when it came,
fast and strong.
The President & Prime Minister,
had nowhere to run.

The fools realized,
they were fooled,
caught the President and,
chopped off his tool!

With Ak-47's they chased,
the Prime Minister down,
emptied into him,
round after round.

To God they turned,
in their dying days.
To the forgiving god,
they begged and prayed.

God said, she opened a valve,
theres nothing she could do.
Having smoked a doobie or two,
she had not a single clue.

Don't worry mortals,
You're not going to die,
Eternal is life,
enjoy the ride.

Nothing to fear,
you'll still be here.
Your bodies may go,
but I have your souls.

So the mortals ascended,
from body to soul,
free from the physical,
and the world of gold.

It was late for some,
early for few,
the men who made pots of money,
were shred in two.

Then the world was fresh and new,
God declared round two,
Sent the mortals once again,
wondering what would be the end?

Relinquishing Oneself

And they built their walls,
to divide us all.

To stop us talking,
Religion they called.

To make you hate me,
the drew a boundary,
a so called Country.

But here I am free,
with no ethnicity.

Running through fields,
watching the birds and the bees.
Are you free like me?

Take my hand,
Earth is our land.

Let's bring down the walls.
And show them all.

What it is to be FREE!

Runing Together Forever (RTF) (FRT) (TRF)

I ran down the mountain,
she ran down the mountain,
we ran down the mountain,
together.

What bliss,
the kiss,
the chaos,
together.

A hug,
a shrug,
a push,
a tug,
We ran down the mountain
together.

together!
together!
forever?
forever?

are we runing down mountains
forever?

Time is ours,
let us make hay.
Will we live,
another day?

How can I say?
together! forever?
forever? together!
When I dont decide,
Forever.
